Linda Pearce – Direct Sales Training Videos For the Norwex Gems Team

The Concept

We met Linda Pearce through another client, Lyndsey Baigent. Lyndsey recommended that we meet up with Linda, as she had goal to train her massive nation-wide MLM team through video. We hit it off right away (and has since been one of our longest standing clients!). Linda had two goals: one, Linda wanted to create Direct Sales Training Videos for new distributors and distributors who are wanting to grow their career which would feature behind her gated LMS Platform. Two, Linda also wanted to create public Direct Sales Training videos for a YouTube channel that could generate new customers for her and her team (without creating extra work for herself).

How We Helped

After working with the products for over 15 years, Linda had her sales pitches and training methods down. Plus, time is very tight for Linda, so we knew getting Linda to find time to write out the scripts was not a practical use of her time! So, our company director, Sarah Robinson, spent time with Linda, getting to know the products and Linda’s way for delivery, so that she could support Linda in getting the cleanest and smoothest performance on camera. (This way of working takes a little time to develop, but it can be done – the latest session in 2018 allowed Linda and Sarah to create 12 videos in one session without needing too much editing).

In order to reduce content needs for Linda and to avoid repetition, a workflow has also been designed. Linda now creates Direct Sales Training videos that help new customers AND educates her team on how to sell the products. This delicate balance has been carefully crafted with a mixture of call to action, product facts and storytelling – which is also followed up with documentation behind Linda’s gated LM System. It also matches Linda’s natural ability to always be educating – it really does come naturally to her, and The Video Box simply push those qualities out further for powerful video content.

After we finish filming Linda’s content, our team takes the footage back to our in-house editing suite. When Linda’s schedule permits, our crew is usually out at the location monthly, filming anywhere between 8 – 12 videos every time. Therefore, file management, organisation and documentation between jobs is very important. Once the primary footage is laid out on the timeline, our team adds the branded graphics and logos, educational titles, product imagery and any other digital assets as necessary. Now that the edits are usually in a format of rinse and repeat, we can usually deliver Linda’s content within a week or less.

The End Result

Linda’s growth over the past few years has been phenomenal. Her team has grown to 11 000 members, and her YouTube channel has just passed 300 000 views. Linda also used her Direct Sales Training Videos to motivate her team to help to become Australia’s first Senior VP Sales Leader and to become the 9th team to reach the top sales results in the world. It has been amazing being apart of her journey, and we can only imagine where she will be in just a few more years.
